I have been doing a terrible job of posting on here. I will try to put some thoughts together on my WIPs, recent projects, and perhaps c-dramas I've been watching lately. In the meantime, I made a mastodon account so please feel free to follow me there! 

C-drama update, because why not!

C-dramas I'm watching at the moment:
Banshu Legend: I started watching this for Zhang Zhehan. It is very silly, but the lead woman, Banshu, is a really fun and eccentric character, and ZZH's character Wei Ying is such a grumpy grouch. Garbage director. 

Qi Hun/Hikaru no Go: I read the manga years ago, and this drama is such a delight! Really excellent acting and writing all around. I admire how they've been using the ghost character's monologues to add emotional drama to the go matches, since it's difficult to make those interesting to watch for people who don't know anything about go. 

Love Between Fairy and Devil: I love this one! I'm watching it slowly with a watchparty but Orchid and Sauron (as I call him) are too delightful. I'm also really intrigued by Ronghao's story and competing loyalties. I'm looking forward to the angst that I'm sure is coming. 

  

I've also been taking a look at the dramas I've watched over the past year, in preparation for an end of year "best things I watched" etc sort of post. So far my top three are:
Under the Skin (2022)
The Wind Blows from Longxi (2022)
Dream of Splendor (2022)

Dream of Splendor, especially, I would love to rewatch. The characters are so smart and much fun and I just had a really good time. 

I posted a lot of small fics last month, and I realized I have quite a few JZEU fics now, so I figured I would put them all in one post for those who are interested. If you don't know, JZEU stands for Junzhe Extended Universe and includes any pairing between Zhang Zhehan and Gong Jun characters outside of Word of Honor. I'll put my Mobage fics in a different post because there are a lot of those. ^_^

For the DZZS server fanworks exchange, I wrote an 8k LLD frame story with three ministories inside of it. The three ministories feature WenZhou, Mobage (LLD mobile game characters), and HuoZhi (Junzhe firefighters). LLD deserves a happy ending in every universe.

I wrote a very short ficlet for ZhongPei (Zhong Wumei from Unique Lady and Pei Yuntian from Cosmetology High).

Rated T. I'd love to write these two again sometime, they are such a fun combination and I just want to make Pei Yuntian ruin some lives and take over some empires, you know? 

I wrote a 1k ficlet for dark!ShenPing (Lin Shen from Dream Garden and Huang Weiping from Retro Detective). Pingping wakes up in the same room as a corpse, but who put it there?

Rated M. Yes that is an Avatar: The Last Airbender reference. This fic was really outside my usual, so mind the tags! 

I wrote a ficlet for XuZhang (Xu Si from Rising with the Wind and Zhang Min from Everyone Wants To Meet You). Xu Si is growing frustrated by the unclear boundaries in their relationship.

Rated T. This one was so much fun to write. I'd like to write a sequel sometime using a similar format. 

I wrote a 3k fic for ZhongXu (Zhong Wumei from Unique Lady and Xu Jin from Blossoms at Ruyi Pavilion). Xu Jin is injured in battle, but someone has his back, always.
